Today I lead a discussion on "Transition Towns" - an exciting world-wide movement whereby "People around the world are trying to "power down." They are working as whole communities to use less energy and live in greater harmony with the planet and with each other. What's more, they're having fun doing it! They are in Transition." Peterborough back in 2009 became Canada's first "transition town" and several others have emerged, including Cocagne. I'm told it is the first Francophone "transition town" in North America!
What a wonderful event! Thank you to all who participated. I will be following up with those who showed interest in forming an Initiating Group within the next few weeks. As for the request for meeting minutes, I am posting a PDF version of my presentation. I hope this works...
Thank you/Merci!
